As a consultancy we are always looking for skilled and professional people to join us. This may be on an employed basis as a regular and permanent consultant, or it could be self employed and ad-hoc when the providers we work with need specific training or consultancy.

We also help providers recruit skilled individuals to work in their homes and organizations.

Be aware that all vacancies are subject to enhanced disclosure and barring checks and your employment will depend on your DBS being completed and being clear. This is due to the fact all vacancies (except trainers) will be working with and spending time with vulnerable children.

Vacancies Available

Ad-hoc Consultants

This would be carrying out Regulation 44 Visits to Children's Homes in and around the Southeast of England. IT could include Quality Assurance Visits, to Ofsted registered providers and CQC registered providers. This would suit someone wanting part time hours.

Experience of working with children in care, or childcare in general, education, healthcare or social care is extremely desirable verging on essential, but enquire if you feel your experience is valid and relevant to the job.

Trainers

We are looking for external trainers to provide a range of training to children's homes teams of staff. This can include safeguarding, Autism and ADHD training, therapeutic parenting models, first aid, supervision, sensory learning, please enquire if you have a skill and training in an area you think might be helpful to people working with vulnerable children in care.

Therapeutic Residential Workers

KW consultants work with a number of providers which have vacancies in their children's homes.

Experience working with children would be a bonus, however full training can be given.

West Berkshrie
South Oxfordshire
Hampshire
Dorset

Therapists

Many children's homes are in need of a skilled therapist to provide group reflection sessions on a regular basis to help them unpick their own emotions when dealing with trauma and challenging behaviours.

This role would be holding a two hour reflection session with a team of staff, supporting them therapeutically to unpick their emotions but also improve the way they deal with challenging behaviorus in children with trauma. You will be required to write up a report/ analysis on the session and provide the home with this promptly. You will receive supervision internally.

This would suit someone who would like to work part time hours.
