Psychotherapy 

Psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach that involves talking with a trained mental health professional to address emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. It helps individuals explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe, supportive environment. Through various techniques and strategies, psychotherapy aims to improve mental well-being, enhance coping skills, resolve past trauma, and promote personal growth. It can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, and stress. The process is collaborative, with the therapist and client working together to identify goals and develop effective solutions.

Mission

Through my personal and professional journey I have come to observe the biggest challenge for people is accepting who they are, their experiences and what to make of them. I would like to offer a safe, non-judgmental therapy space to help people understand their personal journey and embrace a new and positive definition of themselves that they get to create.

How Therapy works

Please contact me to organise a consultation and we will tailor your Psychotherapy experience to your needs. Usually you will have a weekly or fortnightly session which can be completed online or face to face depending on location. We we discuss how many sessions is needed or if it will be open ended and will explore your goals and expectations as well as areas i may think will benefit you.

My expertise lay in attachment theory and exploring how your childhood may have impacted your present experiences in relationships, coping strategies, thought processes and judgements. Treatment plans will involve looking at your past and present in conjunction with each other and using CBT and mindfulness to create a more balanced and positive present and future for you.
